Resilience talks + workshops

So much comes under the umbrella of resilience:

  • Mindset + habits – building them, changing them. Swapping negativity and limitations for optimism, growth and flexibility.
  • Understanding, and working with, your nervous system.
  • Authenticity, values, purpose and being true to yourself.
  • Overcoming self-doubt, fear + shame to build self-trust, confidence + courage.
  • Motivation, emotional regulation and healthy high performance.

And so much more. These sessions are about creating the kind of resilient energy and resources that enhance how we live life. Grounding into who we really are, liberating ourselves from limits and fears and learning the super simple changes that just make life easier, less overwhelming and more filled with joy, pleasure and progress.

My sessions are as much about fun and connection as they are about learning and insight. I use everything, from breath work and movement to ice baths and nervous system tips and tricks, to create an unforgettable experience that can be tailored to any environment, space and delivery format.

“Alex’s workshop at our retreat was so insightful, engaging, challenging and fun all at the same time. The guests found it incredibly helpful and enjoyed Alex’s approachable and honest style. There were a lot of “wow” moments as people realised they could use simple tools to transform their outlook on life and manage their emotions. We left feeling like we’d really experienced something that would change us – and really enjoyed it too.”

Becca Jones, organiser of Rebalance Retreat at The Yard, Hampshire.

Why Resilience?

Something that’s really important to understand about resilience is that it’s got nothing to do with mental toughness. In fact, that rigid ‘strength’ so often associated with resilience in inspiring Insta posts can seriously restrict our ability to respond well to what life throws at us.

Resilience is actually about mental flexibility. No forcing, suppressing emotions or using fake positivity – just accepting who we are, understanding how we function and working with that to respond to the ups and downs of life in a way that supports and champions us.

⬅️ This is a basic illustration of what creates resilience in us – it might be quite different to what you’re expecting. Resilience – and all the things that flow from it, from confidence to motivation and existing in a regulated nervous system – is not rocket science. Anyone can have all these things. I can show you how.
