Career ✔️ Relationships ✔️ Wellbeing ✔️Leadership ✔️ ADHD ✔️ Parenting ✔️ Family ✔️ Change ✔️A resilience coach can help you with anything in your life that requires you to be you. Not what you were expecting? We tend to have this idea of resilience as being something we only need in tough times. Something that we need to cope. And that the reality of resilience is just gritting your teeth and getting through it – surviving. But the thing about resilience is that it’s actually a huge power source for the good times. It can motivate you, help you to deal with failure better and be what enables you to dream big.
And it can actually have an impact on everything, from how confident you feel to whether you’re able to make the right career choices, how you behave in relationships, whether you’re fulfilling your goals and how much you struggle with people pleasing, imposter syndrome and catastrophising.
A resilience coach can help you cope better with life
I guess that’s the short answer. There is a pretty special piece of feedback below from a recent client that really demonstrates what I can help you with as a resilience coach – how wide the scope is with resilience coaching. You can also see more about other’s experience with resilience coaching on my testimonials and Facebook reviews. But in terms of the areas I cover as a resilience coach. -this is the resilience model I use:
- Transforming your mindset. So, swapping negativity for optimism or neutral thinking, identifying limiting beliefs and lifting them, showing you how to use your brain to “manifest” (there is actually a scientific explanation for why this works), minimising the noise of the inner critic, shame, people pleasing and imposter syndrome.
- Changing your habits. Most of what we do each day is habitual and by changing just a few of your thoughts and behaviours you can make a huge difference to your reality. As a resilience coach I can show you how to let go of bad habits and wire in the ones you want, simply by understanding the way that mind works and using my tools for resistance, procrastination, lack of motivation and anxiety.
- Improving how you deal with your emotions. Emotions can overwhelm us and will make resilience impossible if we don’t feel comfortable with them. So, part of resilience coaching is developing better emotional awareness and learning tools that make us feel more in control.
- Nervous system flexibility. There is nothing that disrupts resilience faster than being in fight/flight/freeze. Simple nervous system understanding can give you huge power over how you feel and whether you’re able to keep functioning effectively when something hard is happening. It will also help you to stop self-sabotaging big moments and opportunities.
- Authenticity. When you are comfortable with you and you know yourself really well nothing can disrupt your resilience. So, part of resilience coaching is focusing on this. What are your values? Your purpose and passions? Who are you without the roles you play in life etc.
Resilience coaching is a whole system shift that you can make without turning your life upside down. A resilience coach can help you with every aspect of your life and ensuring that you’re living it fully.
