Here we are then, almost on the eve of another new year. It’s a prime time for reflection this.. so, I’d recommend taking a moment in the next few days to look back over your year.

Look how far you’ve come, look at what you’ve achieved, how much you’ve grown, what changed, all the things you didn’t think were possible that you did anyway. And yes, look at the things that didn’t get done, got procrastinated away or were just lost in the busyness of life – how could you approach them differently next year?

I’ve done some self-reflection of my own over Christmas and from that I’ve realised that there are 9 truths that 2023 taught me:

1) You don’t need to wait for things to be perfect (or to feel ready) to allow yourself to feel a certain way or do a certain thing. Do it now. Feel it now.

2) Joy is a choice.

3) No one else is coming to save you (the person you’ve been waiting for is you).

4) There is no reward for suffering the most. And no penalty for ease, abundance or luck.

5) Your mind will never prove you wrong. Changing negative core beliefs changes everything.

6) Boundaries = showing people how to love and connect with you (they are not walls).

7) Yours is the voice you hear the most often, so make sure it’s having the impact on you that you want it to.

8) Grief is love persevering.

9) It’s always true that the best is yet to come.

Thank you for being here in 2023 and I look forward to helping more of you be your zero f*cks given, most joyfully authentic and confident selves in 2024.

See you on the other side..
