I don’t fix my clients.

And, you know, I really dislike this idea that so many people in the wellness industry seem to push that we are all just a big bag of problems that needs fixing. It feels like a never-ending journey of slight hopelessness that will eventually just grind you down compeltely.

And honestly? As a coach, if I started taking that approach, I think my clients would have absolutely none of it. Because these aren’t people who are waiting to be rescued. They don’t want me to sweep in and fix everything in their lives. In fact, most of them have already done a lot of the heavy lifting themselves. That’s not what they are looking for when they come for resilience coaching. And, in all honesty, that’s not what resilience coaching is for.

So, why do people choose resilience coaching?

Someone recently asked me how I get reviews like this..

And this..

And this..

You can read more testimonials here.

And sure, I am very happy to take credit for the part that I have played in these outcomes: I built the resilience coaching framework, I hold the space, and I provide the guidance when it’s actually required. But most of the credit belongs to the people who are in there doing the work every day. To the clients.

These aren’t people who just show up with their problems and expect me to dish out a magic pill that will solve all their problems. More often than not, these people already understand exactly why they do what they do. The why is not the problem for them.

What’s missing is the final connection. Joining the dots.

Moving from knowing why to doing differently.

I might provide the bridge, but they are the ones who choose to walk across it. That is exactly why they get the results they do.

If you already know your patterns in theory, but you’re ready to start doing things differently in practice then resilience coaching could be incredibly beneficial for you.
