We know that gratitude is powerful. It can lower anxiety, help you through adversity and build strong relationships. Plus it will create a shift if you’re in a “poor me” place or feeling negative.

BUT lists aren’t the only way to generate this (they never worked for me). In fact sometimes they can make you feel worse.

If that’s you, stop trying to force it

Instead, ask yourself this:

What DO I have what CAN I do?

It’s still gratitude, just a different approach

It’s gratitude because you’re acknowledging what you have. But it avoids the “I am grateful for” that can sometimes feel fake.

The mindset tips and tricks that you see on social media are only one way to make something happen for you – and they won’t work for everyone.

But there IS always a way to get these benefits, whether that’s gratitude practice or confidence hacks.

The fastest way to work out what’s going to work for you in terms of growth?

Hi, that would be me!

Gratitude lists not your thing?

I’ve never really done well with them. They always felt a bit fake and performative.

But I have experienced the incredible power of real gratitude and I do know that it’s worth working out how to harness this for yourself.

When you’re feeling it you can’t feel anxious, lonely, fearful or angry.

When you’re engaging with it, the world fills up with colour and potential.

When you feel gratitude, scarcity and needing disappear.

Those things alone are worth finding what’s going to make gratitude real for you.
